Parents have the right to opt out of testing in grades 3-8. Why would one want to opt out? What’s the impact of doing so for your child and your school? This is an opportunity for parents to ask questions about testing, learn more about the Opt Out movement, and consider the implications of high-stakes standardized tests for education equity and social justice.
